Consumer Track

A very niche but special track for us. HyperSDK is still in its early phase, but the future is bright with actual 100k TPS and crazy optimisations you could do in your HyperVM. Our team has worked hard in releasing the HyperSDK Starter Kit. Now is your chance to test out its full potential.

**For example:** Implementing a Centralized Order Book in EVM would be impractical because of computation costs, throughput, and various other reasons. But this can be achieved in a 100x optimised manner using HyperVM. If you agree, then GO BUILD IT!

Or if you are someone who is knee-deep into the Data Availability stuff and wants something around that. Good news for you! You can actually try implementing a DA Solution using HyperSDK.
These are just few suggestions. You are free to try out the HyperSDK Starter Kit and even suggest improvements to the kit. *We are still in early stages and we’ll need every help to make this the go-to software for building your own VMs and L1s.*

The **Avalanche9000** upgrade, or **simply Etna upgrade**, is available on the Fuji Testnet for everyone to experiment. A lot has changed in the Avalanche L1 stack with this upgrade. This is the perfect time to test out the new validator infra, or the new transaction types, or setting up a sovereign L1. Lots of things to try out but here are a few general ideas:

→ Check out the Etna Devnet Resources available [here](https://github.com/ava-labs/etna-devnet-resources) to launch two sovereign L1s and utilize Interchain Messaging to **build a simple cross-chain application**. Can be a simple calculator or a token bridge. All the guides you may need for building cross-chain apps are available on Academy: https://academy.avax.network/course/interchain-messaging

→ **Build a Validator Manager Dashboard**. Validators should be able to take a look on their rewards, uptime, and add their Validator Node to an L1 if they meet the criteria.

### Frontend Ideas

Our DevRel team has been working on a new tooling which helps you build UI for Avalanche dApps at crazy speeds. You can literally build an Interchain Token Transfer dApp in ~20 lines of code. In this track, we’d like the developers to understand the builder kit, and utilize it to build their dApps and deploy them on the Fuji C-Chain.

Another interesting & long-lasting usecase would be: to add a new component to the BuilderKit or make an improvement and publish on the repo for everybody to use. You are completely free to experiment around the tooling.

Build an innovative consumer-facing application using Okto Dev Tools (SDK and APIs) that brings great utility and user experience which can facilitate mass user onboarding into web3.

You may build a web app or a mobile app on any of our supported chains.

**Judging criteria:**
- Team must have built a new project or show significant upgrade during the time of the hackathon. No pre built project will be accepted
- Team must have built on Okto sdk in our sandbox environment and have a good, integrated functioning UI
- Team must submit a fully open source repo which can be run as is (or with clear deployment instructions)
- Teams must submit a clear code walk and ui/ux walk through video. The videos must clearly show the ways in which okto is being used.
- Team must deploy on vercel or provide apk file(in case of mobile app) that is usable. This means we should be able to experience an end to end flow of the app when judging.

Submission Requirements:
To qualify for a prize, participants must:

1. Deploy their project to the Agoric Testnet.
